He is the past Chairman of the South Asian Chamber of Commerce and formerly served as the Chairman of the City of Houston’s Ethics Commission. He is, an ALF Fellow of the American Leadership Forum, a member of the Multi-million dollar advocates’ forum, a member of the US Justice Department’s Community Liaison Committee, and has served as a member of the State Bar of Texas Grievance Panel.
Most recently he was recognized as a “Global Leader of Influence” by the World Affairs Council of Greater Houston and named a “Houston Legend’ by the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. He has also been selected by his peers as a Super Lawyer in the field of Personal Injury for the past seven (7) years. In addition, he has been inducted into the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates. He has also been recognized by the Trucking Trial Lawyers Association as a Top 10 attorney in the State of Texas, an exclusive designation reserved for the top 10 attorneys from each state that represent individuals in the American legal system regarding Trucking accidents.
He has served as Chairman, President and/ or Legal Counsel to several community based organizations, such as South Asian Chamber of Commerce, Pakistan Chamber of Commerce- USA, Pakistan American Congress – Washington DC, and Houston Abu Dhabi Sister City Association.
Nomaan is a certified Mediator and has successfully represented his clients in both State and Federal Courts. He is also a member of the International Bar Association, and the London Court of International Arbitration.

Nomaan graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with B.A. in Political Science (1995) and South Texas College of Law (J.D., 1999) Nomaan was the Articles and Notes Editor of International Trade Law Journal and clerked for the Honorable Scott Link.
